I just got off a call with a prospect who had told me that marketing is just too expensive. His business is in the dumps right now, and on the way out. And I posed the question, if marketing is too expensive, what has the cost been of being obscure? Meaning that your prospects, your buyers, have no idea that you exist.

So before you throw the marketing is too expensive excuse out there, think about what it's costing you by not being visible to your prospects and your clients that are actually the ones buying products and services from you.
